Gründerszene Awards 2019 honor the fastest-growing digital companies

The top three spots are taken by the insurance startup Clark (FL Fintech E GmbH), the online tire shop Fritzreifen (Go James GmbH), and the recruiting platform Instaffo GmbH. The 50 growth champions are featured in the accompanying Gründerszene magazine, available in both print and digital formats.

start-up scene, the platform for the German digital economy, was looking for the fastest-growing digital companies in Germany for the fifth time. The winners were now chosen at an exclusive dinner.

The Gründerszene Awards honor successful startups. The evaluation of the companies is based on their own growth score, calculated by the main partner KPMG from the CAGR (annual growth rate) of net sales and the age of the company.

This year the winner is FL Fintech E GmbH – Clark Holding, the company behind the insurance app Clark. The GoJames GmbH takes second place with its online tire shop.

In third place is the Instaffo GmbH with its intelligent recruiting platform. The growth winners can look forward to top prizes, such as 250.000 euros in marketing performance at Welt. Industry-specific category winners were also chosen.

The special prize in the Entrepreneurship category goes to Miriam Wohlfarth, founder of the fintech Ratepay, for her active commitment to promoting the startup scene and entrepreneurship in Germany. The Big Player Award for exceptional business success goes to the excursion platform GetYourGuide.
