Saturday crime thriller: “Helen Dorn” in Hamburg

A new case now takes Chief Detective Helen Dorn (Anna Loos) from North Rhine-Westphalia to Hamburg.

The Saturday crime thriller “Helen Dorn – Kleine Freiheit” will be broadcast on October 24, 2020, at 20.15:XNUMX p.m., on ZDF and will be available in the ZDF media library the day before.

The case of a boy who disappeared 14 years ago has never left Helen Dorn alone. She had to let the suspected perpetrator Ron Faber (Jörn Hentschel) go, but the missing child never reappeared.

When Helen learns from an Intrapol report that Faber was picked up in Hamburg after an accident and that the emergency services discovered the body of a Chinese boy in his van, she makes a hasty journey to the Hanseatic city.

Helen tries to confront Ron Faber in the hospital. But he pretends to be suffering from amnesia after the accident and lets her down. Helen begins to investigate behind the backs of her Hamburg LKA colleagues Katharina Tempel (Franziska Hartmann) and Timo Berger (Max Koch) and ends up in the "Kleine Freiheit" bar in the Hamburg Kiez while searching for clues.

Ron Faber regularly went there. Meanwhile, an unknown person tries to kill Ron Faber in the hospital. But Faber manages to escape. Helen Dorn gets help from the forensic pathologist Dr. Isabella Aligheri (Nagmeh Alaei) and her old colleague Weyer (Tristan Seith) from the forensic investigation department.

Ultimately, she not only comes across a web of human trafficking and modern slavery, but also a human drama about guilt, atonement and revenge…
