How do you go on holiday in Corona times, and what was it like before? In “Sehnsucht Urlaub – So reisen Deutschland” on August 18, 2020, 20.15:XNUMX p.m., “ZDFzeit” describes the development of holidays since the Second World War in Germany.

How growing prosperity increased the demands on time for relaxation and how the corona pandemic suddenly changed the question of holiday destinations. The corona pandemic also shattered the dream of a carefree cruise - for providers and holidaymakers.

Germans prefer to vacation in their own country. In 2020, due to Corona, this is even more the case than usual. An exclusive survey for "ZDFzeit" finds out what Germans expect from the most wonderful time of the year and what hopes they have for it in the future.
