Usedom crime thriller: Shooting starts for two new episodes

The death of a 16-year-old after a drug party and the disappearance of a young security guard are the focus of two new episodes of the successful “Usedom Crime Series” on Das Erste: “Nachtschatten” and “Vom Geben und nehmen” are the working titles.

The co-productions of NDR and ARD Degeto with Katrin Sass and Rikke Lylloff will be shot on the Baltic island as well as in Swinoujscie and Berlin until April 8th.

Felix Herzogenrath directed both episodes. Author Dagmar Gabler makes her debut in the “Usedom Crime” series with “Nachtschatten”.

The episode “Give and Take” was written by Marija Erceg. Behind the camera is Dominik Berg (“The Usedom Crime Series – Mother’s Love”). Das Erste is expected to show the Thursday crime series this year and next year.

Merab Ninidze (Lucjan Gadocha), Rainer Sellien (Holm Brendel), Max Hopp (Dr. Brunner), Emilie Neumeister (Lilli) and Bjarne Ludwig Meisel (Korbinian) play in “Nachtschatten”.

In “Give and Take” Rainer Sellien (Holm Brendel), Max Hopp (Dr. Brunner), Edelgard Hansen (Mrs. Behrens) and Christoph Bernhard (Marvin Horn) can be seen

The producer of both episodes is Tim Gehrke (for Razor Filmproduktion), the production and production manager is Olav Mann. The editors are Donald Kraemer (NDR) and Katja Kirchen (ARD Degeto).
