#whatannoysmicaboutclimatedispute: Call for ZDF documentary

ZDF reporter Jochen Breyer is taking Germany's pulse for the seventh time. In a new "ZDFzoom" documentary, he examines what Germans are missing out on in the debate about climate protection.

Since Friday, February 7, 2020, viewers and users have been asked for their opinions on social networks under the hashtag #wasmichamklimastreitnervt. The interviewees for the ZDF documentary will be selected from the circle of those who respond to the call.

Since last year, the climate debate has really gained momentum. Millions of people have taken to the streets to demonstrate for more climate protection, including many young people. But there are also opponents: for example, those who deny man-made climate change.

ZDF will broadcast “ZDFzoom: Am Puls Deutschlands” on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at 22.45:XNUMX p.m.

Or people who are worried that a wind turbine could be built near their home. What annoys some people and what annoys others about the climate debate? Do we need more bans to protect the climate - or fewer?

What are people despairing about in the debate? Is the social component of climate protection measures neglected? Are large corporations not being held accountable enough? Jochen Breyer wants to talk about what moves people.
