New films: Shooting for “Die Eifelpraxis”

“The Eifel practice” has reopened: Filming has now begun in Monschau for two new films in the popular ARD-Degeto medical series.

Jessica Ginkel, who has just been hired as the new care assistant Vicky Röver for Simon Schwarz alias country doctor Dr. Chris Wegner and has started a new life with her daughter in her old hometown of Monschau, is once again in demand – including the occasional solo effort.

What lies behind the mysterious complaints of the young, apparently perfectly healthy fitness trainer, and what is the story behind the diffuse circulatory and respiratory problems of a formerly extremely wealthy building contractor who now makes a living as a day laborer?

But the protagonists are not only concerned with medical questions, but also with deeply human ones…

Filming in Monschau and the surrounding area and the Berlin area will continue until December 3, 2021.

Chris wants to give up his therapy, Vicky struggles with her relationship anxiety and her pride, Vicky's daughter Kim (Carlotta von Falkenhayn) is looking for her father and Vicky's brother Georg, played by Barnaby Metschurat, looks forward to the first visit of his friend Djamal (Harun Yildirim) to his family with extremely mixed feelings.

Other roles include Olga von Luckwald, Janek Rieke, Tom Keune, Marie Anne Fliege, Corinna Kirchhoff, Vincent von Linden, Christoph Bach and Lilli Jellinek in front of Peter Polsak’s camera.
