On TV – electric cars and their huge fire hazard
Once electric cars catch fire, the fire department has to react very differently than with combustion engines. The extinguishing process takes longer and is more complex. Now it is finally being reported on TV.
In most cases, the vehicles have to be cooled down in containers full of water for days (!) so that the fire does not reignite.
