Start of filming for "Your Honor"
The first shot has now been taken on the filming of the six-part thriller series “Your Honor” in Vienna.
The main roles are played by Sebastian Koch, Tobias Moretti, Paula Beer, Ursula Strauss, Sascha Gersak, Taddeo Kufus, Lena Kalisch and as a guest Rainer Bock.
Shooting star director David Nawrath (“Atlas”, “Blind ermittelt”) stages the suspenseful story of a renowned judge who puts everything on the line to save his son from the justice system and a vengeful mafia clan after his hit-and-run.
Screenwriters David Marian and David Nawrath create a world in which nothing is as it seems, full of lies, deception and questionable decisions.
“Your Honor” is the adaptation of the successful Israeli series “Kvodo”, which has caused a sensation worldwide.
Filming will take place in Vienna, Innsbruck and the surrounding area until mid-April 2021.
The whole thing is a production of SquareOne Productions in co-production with Mona Film on behalf of ARD Degeto for ARD and ORF, supported by Fernsehfonds Austria and the Cine Tirol Film Commission.
The producer is Al Munteanu from SquareOne Productions. Co-producers are Thomas Hroch and Gerald Podgornig from MonaFilm, Vienna.
