While patrol officer Süher Özlügül (Sophie Dal) and her colleague Henk Cassens (Maxim Mehmet) are tasked with making Leer the safest city in Lower Saxony, their boss, Inspector Jan Brockhorst (Felix Vörtler), is investigating a murder case.

While Henk and Süher take care of the implementation of their boss’s new “security concept”, pharmacist Insa Scherzinger (Theresa Underberg) receives an invitation to a conference.

Unfortunately, her colleague Melanie Harms (Tina Pfurr) is drawn into the police investigation. And it's a tough one, because surveillance cameras are being installed all over Leer.

From now on, there is also a camera in front of Wolfgang Habedank's funeral home. Finally, Brockhorst makes a surprising discovery. Is there some truth to Schlüter's paranoia?
