Sequels to “Mord mit Aussicht” and “Die Heiland” planned
The ARD prime time series “Mord mit Aussicht” and “Die Heiland – Wir sind Anwalt” will be continued.
Filming for the fifth season of “Mord mit Aussicht” is expected to begin in March 2023. The broadcast of 13 episodes is planned for spring 2024.
The fourth season of “Die Heiland” will be filmed from October 25th. 13 episodes are scheduled to air from fall 2023.
This year, the six episodes of “Mord mit Aussicht” were watched by an average of 6,09 million viewers on television; in the media library, another 436.000 viewers per episode were added (length-weighted stream views).
In 2021/22, an average of 4,76 million television viewers watched “Die Heiland” per episode, and an additional 203.000 viewers per episode watched the series in the ARD Mediathek.
The repeats of the series on the third channels continue to enjoy great popularity with audiences years after the premiere, even after multiple broadcasts.
Filming for “Mord mit Aussicht”, season 5, will begin in March 2023.
The cast includes Katharina Wackernagel, Sebastian Schwarz, Eva Bühnen, Petra Kleinert and Kai Schumann.
Filming for “Die Heiland – Wir sind Anwalt”, season 4, will begin in October 2022.
The cast includes Christina Athenstädt, Sina Reiß, Peter Fieseler, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Tim Kalkhof, Peggy Lukac and Rüdiger Kuhlbrodt.
