Fans and artists such as Moncrieff, Lola Young and Sam Ryder, Calum Scott experienced emotional highlights together during the three-day event in Baden-Baden.
The up-and-coming house producer and DJ Purple Disco Machine was presented with the “SWR3 New Pop Award” during the recording of the TV music show “SWR3 New Pop – the Special”.
Next year the festival will take place from September 14 to 16, 2023 in Baden-Baden.
The eleven individual concerts were sold out. Despite the fluctuating weather, numerous visitors came to watch the star talks and unplugged sessions in the Baden-Baden Kurmuschel as well as the concerts in front of the two video walls in front of the Kurhaus and on the Fieser Bridge.
This meant that fans could experience the festival up close and free of charge, even without tickets. The party nights in the various locations were also well attended.
Hundreds of thousands of people followed the festival on the radio, the “SWR3 New Pop TV” on swr3.de and the social media channels.
The concerts can now be seen gradually on SWR television, on 3sat and in the ARD Mediathek.
