The new season of “FilmFrauen” at the Berlinale

They are unswervingly following their own path, have experienced a lot and have received major film and television awards: actress and entertainer Maren Kroymann, director Julia von Heinz and actress Lorna Ishema, who has just won the Lola.
Three new episodes of the successful web series “FilmFrauen. Die Interviews”, which ZDFkultur is showing on the occasion of the Berlinale, are dedicated to them.
In very personal conversations lasting around 15 minutes, the three women in the film give insights into their professional and private lives in a way that is as idiosyncratic as it is opinionated.
The whole thing will be available online from February 10, 2022 at zdf.de/kultur/filmfrauen-die-interviews.
They talk about setbacks and obstacles and how they overcame them, about the craft behind great successes, and about their view of a changing film world.
And they provide a surprisingly open and authentic look behind the scenes of their industry. The three unanimously demand that the film depicts real society in all its facets.
All parts of the previous seasons are also available online at ZDF.
