Manuel Neukirchner, director of the German Football Museum, describes the exhibition as “a homage to an extraordinary personality in an equally extraordinary era.”
Football romantics who admire the 1970s as an era of nonconformist individualists and revolutionary playing styles will especially get their money's worth.
The exhibition promises to present Günter Netzer as the first great pop star of German football – and offers visitors a unique and expansive overall experience.
