The German trade fair industry is getting a new flagship event: the "M1 – Future Trade Fair Congress." The premiere will take place on September 30 and October 1, 2025, in Frankfurt am Main.
The innovative format is the brainchild of the DFV Conference Group and the M+A Report in cooperation with AUMA, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry.
The congress is aimed primarily at companies that use trade fairs as a strategic marketing tool and want to develop further in this area.
A special feature of the "M1" is its annual change of venue. After its premiere in Frankfurt, the congress will now take place in a different German trade fair city each year.
This will include regional markets and highlight the diversity of the German trade fair industry.

latest Topics such as lead generation, artificial intelligence and sustainability are in focus as they significantly influence the future of the industry.
Christian Kuhn, Managing Director of the DFV Conference Group, emphasizes: “We bring together decision-makers from exhibiting companies and create a platform to sustainable to develop successful strategies for successful trade fair appearances.”
