RTLZwei with new reality format: “The Promihof” brings VIPs to the countryside

RTLZwei is expanding its reality TV portfolio: Together with Constantin Entertainment, the broadcaster is launching a new format – “Der Promihof”.

Filming for the new show will begin this year, and the official casting call is already underway.

The concept: prominent personalities dare to step out of their comfort zone and move to the countryside for a reality experiment.

“Home of Reality”

With successful formats such as “Kampf der Realitystars”, “Love Island VIP” and “Die Geissens”, RTLZwei has established itself as a major player in reality TV in recent years.

This strategic direction is now being continued with “Der Promihof”.

“We are creating a new stage for celebrities who are willing to leave their comfort zone,” explains Malte Kruber, Director of Entertainment at RTLZwei.

Instead of jet-setting and flashbulbs, participants can expect country life – with everything that goes with it: physical labor, simple living conditions and direct contact with other VIPs in an unusual environment.

VIPs in a rural idyll

“The Celebrity Court” brings dazzling reality TV celebrities, Influencers and other well-known faces who have to assert themselves far away from the red carpet.

The focus is on interpersonal dynamics, group challenges and daily life in a rustic setting.

The format promises not only classic reality elements such as conflicts, alliances and intrigues, but also a fresh twist through the unfamiliar environment.

The clash between jet-set lifestyle and rural idyll is intended to provide emotional moments, surprising twists and turns and plenty of conversation material – both on linear TV as well on Streaming platforms.

Casting is underway

The casting process for “The Celebrity Court” has already begun.

According to the broadcaster, the first participants with the “VIP factor” have already been confirmed, but other celebrities still have the chance to become part of the new format.
