“PraktischArzt” and “Medi-Karriere” now belong to “Funke Digital”

“Funke Digital” has taken over the two successful job portals “PraktischArzt” and “Medi-Karriere”.

With more than 3.000 registered employers and over 2,5 million visitors per month, the portals are among the leading job markets for the healthcare sector in the DACH region.

The platforms founded in 2014 by Timo Krasko and Michael Schmitt will remain under their current leadership – and are already planning to expand into other markets.

The two portals address different target groups:

"PraktischArzt" is specifically aimed at physicians of all specialties and career levels. In addition to a wide range of job postings, the portal offers content on topics such as continuing education, hospital management, and setting up a private practice.

◉ “Medi-Karriere” serves a broad spectrum of more than 350 healthcare professions, including medical assistants, nursing staff and administrative staff. In addition to job offers, the platform also provides career tips and salary overviews.

With this takeover, “Funke Digital” is further expanding its position in the area of ​​specialized recruiting platforms and is consistently continuing its digital strategy.
