“RPR1.” presenter Laura Nowak expecting first child

Great joy at “RPR1.”: Presenter Laura Nowak and her husband Manuel are expecting their first child.

Just a few weeks after their wedding, the couple now announces the happy news: a baby is on the way – and the “RPR1.” team and numerous companions send their warm congratulations.

“I am truly touched by how my family, friends, my colleagues at the station and, above all, my fellow morning presenter, Ben Salzner, support me in all areas,” says Laura Nowak.

She particularly emphasizes the family-oriented corporate culture at "RPR1," which she says has made the transition to a new phase of her life easier. "The trust shown in me by program director Andreas Holz and managing directors Kai Fischer and Tobias Heger allows me to prepare for my new role in peace and quiet."

Politicians also offer their congratulations: Family Minister Katharina Binz wishes her "a good and healthy pregnancy," while Minister President Alexander Schweizer, with a wink, announces that he will be dropping off a romper himself. "All the best – see you in nine months at the latest!"

Laura Nowak, known for her friendly manner and closeness to her listeners, wants to share this special phase of her life with her audience.

She will continue to appear regularly on the program until the birth. A maternity leave is planned for the period around the due date; the exact duration will be announced in due course.

“RPR1.” is the private radio station with the largest reach in Rhineland-Palatinate and was the first state-wide private radio stations in Deutschland.
