Beatrice Egli makes her acting debut in "The Country Doctor's Practice - Team Sonnenhof"

Swiss multi-talent Beatrice Egli is taking the plunge into acting at the age of 37.
From late summer 2026, the well-known pop singer and entertainer will be seen for the first time in a fictional role on Sat.1 and Joyn.

Career milestone for Beatrice Egli
Until now, Beatrice Egli has always appeared on camera as herself – as a singer, presenter, and entertainer. In "Die Landarztpraxis – Team Sonnenhof," she now slips into a fictional character for the first time.
For the 37-year-old, this is a significant step: “In recent years, I have been able to experience many different moments in front of the camera, always as myself. Now having the opportunity to embody a character and immerse myself in a new role is something very special for me.”
Egli said she accepted the challenge with great respect, but also with great joy. Filming took place against the picturesque backdrop of the Bavarian Alps.
Mysterious Céline Huber from Switzerland
In the series, Beatrice Egli plays Céline Huber, a Swiss woman who unexpectedly appears at the Sonnenhof hotel in Weilhausen. There, she receives a warm welcome from her longtime friend Lilli Lamminger (played by Pina Kühr) – the two have known each other since their time training in the hotel industry.
With her open and warm-hearted nature, Céline quickly brings a breath of fresh air to the Sonnenhof and wins the trust of the people around her.
But Lilli suspects that behind her friend's radiant smile lies a secret: Céline didn't come to Weilhausen by chance and apparently carries a hidden burden with her.

The new season of “Die Landarztpraxis – Team Sonnenhof” starts on Monday, June 29, 2026, on Sat.1 and the streaming platform Joyn.
The series is produced by Filmpool Entertainment. The episodes featuring Beatrice Egli will air in late summer 2026. The show will be broadcast in Ultra HD.
