Economic diplomacy – high-ranking delegation from Shenzhen at the Polish Parliament

A meeting to deepen economic cooperation between Poland and China recently took place in the Sejm, the Polish parliament.

The delegation from Shenzhen was received by MP Agnieszka Soin and Warsaw lawyer Anna Maria Rożek, who spearheaded the organization of the visit.

Guests from the Chinese economic metropolis

The visit to parliament was attended by prominent representatives of the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce: including Rui Zhou, President of the Chamber of Commerce in Switzerland, and Hui Lin, Chairwoman of the organization.

The discussions revolved around topics of international economic cooperation and the establishment of lasting partnerships between the two countries.

Shenzhen is considered one of China's most innovative and economically dynamic cities. The metropolis in the south of the country has developed into a global center for technology and trade over the past few decades.

Legal Wings as a bridge between Europe and Asia

Behind the organization of the meeting is Anna Maria Rożek, founder of the Warsaw law firm Legal Wings.

The law firm specializes in immigration law, corporate law, and European law, advising international clients on cross-border investments and establishing branches in Europe. Rożek has extensive international experience.

Her professional career includes positions at leading universities in the USA, including in Washington DC. She also served as a city councilor in Warsaw and is involved in humanitarian projects through the Wings Foundation she founded.

Growing Polish-Chinese economic relations

The parliamentary meeting is part of a series of economic diplomacy initiatives between European and Asian actors. Poland is increasingly positioning itself as an attractive location for international investors – also from China.

The event demonstrates the role that legal expertise and personal networks play in initiating international business relationships. Decision-makers and specialized advisors are particularly in demand in areas of complex legal frameworks such as immigration and corporate law.

The exchange in the Sejm thus represents a further step towards closer economic integration between Poland and one of China's most important economic regions.
