Bernette 79 Harry Potter – limited edition sewing and embroidery machine
Bernina International AG is launching the Bernette 79 Harry Potter, a limited edition sewing and embroidery machine.
It is the first product from the new licensing partnership between the Swiss Bernina Textile Group and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP).
The first public presentation will take place at the H+H trade fair in Cologne this weekend (March 20-22, 2026).

The Bernette 79 Harry Potter is aimed at all those who want to combine their passion for sewing and embroidery with the iconic wizarding world.
The special edition combines sophisticated sewing technology with an unmistakable Hogwarts design – and holds a few hidden details that will only gradually reveal themselves during use.
“Our goal was to create a machine that not only impresses with its performance, but also strengthens the emotional connection that so many people have with the Harry Potter universe,” explains Carolin Kinder, Brand Manager for bernette at the Swiss headquarters in Steckborn.

◉ 260 integrated embroidery designs – 52 of them official Harry Potter motifs, ten developed exclusively for this edition.
◉ 5-inch color touchscreen for direct positioning, combination and editing of all motifs.
◉ Generous embroidery area of 260 × 160 mm for detailed results.
The bright touchscreen and the generous work area make the machine a powerful tool for both beginners and experienced sewers.

The introduction of the Bernette 79 Harry Potter marks the start of a more comprehensive cooperation between the two providers.
