After the summer break, “Who knows what?” is starting the next quiz season with brand new episodes. In the very first week, presenter Kai Pflaume has once again invited exciting celebrities who enjoy puzzling and speculating to exciting guessing duels.

It starts from October 4th to 8th, 2021 with Caren Miosga and Ingo Zamperoni. Since 2007, Caren Miosga has been presenting the Tagesthemen on Das Erste with a "compelling combination of objectivity, stringency and charming, well-dosed irony". This was the reasoning of the jury, which awarded her the prestigious "Grimme Prize" this year.

Caren Miosga alternates weekly with her colleague Ingo Zamperoni, who always sends the audience off into the night with an encouraging "Stay confident". Which of the two can be more confident when solving tricky quiz questions will be revealed on Monday.

They already met in the legendary improv comedy “Schillerstraße”: the comedians Michael Kessler and Cordula Stratmann. In the series “Switch”, Kessler took on countless roles and undertook “Kessler’s Expeditions” as a fun reporter for the RBB.

Cordula Stratmann, who became famous with her stage character “Annemie Hülchrath”, was recently part of the comedy series “Queens of Comedy”. Tuesday evening promises to be very funny with these two jokers.

Actor Heino Ferch, a native of Bremerhaven, was once dubbed "the German Bruce Willis." However, with his many major film and television roles, he has long since become a brand in his own right.

The actor and singer Walter Plathe played "The Country Doctor" and is a celebrated Otto Reutter interpreter with Berlin couplets and popular songs. He founded the Zille Museum in Berlin. On Wednesday, the North German and the Berliner will compete for the guessing game victory.

44 years separate the cultural journalist and book critic Christine Westermann and the actor Edin Hasanovic.

In their generational podcast “Jung und Jünger” they talk to each other about what makes life worth living or what it actually means to be happy – and discover that the generations can learn a lot from each other.

Whether “young” or “younger” has the edge when it comes to guessing the correct answers will be revealed on Thursday.

The end of the week will be musical when pop singers Thomas Anders and Marianne Rosenberg compete against each other in a guessing duel.

Of course, they are also actively supported by the two team leaders Bernhard Hoëcker and Elton…
