A special racing weekend is coming up – with the finale in the ADAC Formula 4 powered by Abarth

– The ADAC Formula 4 powered by Abarth will be decided in Oschersleben.
– Two young drivers from the Van Amersfoort Racing team still have a chance of winning the title – Edgar (GBR) and Crawford (USA).

A double challenge on the race track and in a rally for the Abarth drivers this weekend: The last three races of this year's ADAC Formula 4 powered by Abarth will take place in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben - and the title has not yet been decided. The fourth round of the FIA ​​ERC European Rally Championship and the Abarth 12 Rally Cup will also be held in Hungary.

In the Magdeburger Börde – in Oschersleben – the ADAC Formula 4 powered by Abarth is entering the decisive final round. Before the last three races of the 2020 season, two young drivers from the Van Amersfoort Racing team are fighting for the title – Briton Jonny Edgar and American Jack Crawford, who is 23 points behind. The Finn Elias Seppänen also still has a theoretical chance of winning the championship.

The three races will take place on Saturday, November 7th at 12:00 noon and on Sunday, November 8th at 12:00 noon and 16:00 p.m. respectively. Media partner Sport1 will broadcast the races live on free TV and via its online platforms. Live streaming is also available on www.adac-motorsport.de.

The current standings in the ADAC Formula 4 powered by Abarth: 1. Jonny Edgar (GBR, Van Amersfoort Racing), 264 points; 2. Jak Crawford (USA, Van Amersfoort Racing), 241; 3. Elias Seppänen (FIN, US Racing), 217.

At the same time as the German Formula 4, the fourth round of the 2020 Abarth Rally Cup will take place at the Rally Hungary: Four teams will be competing in their Abarth 124 rally. Thanks to two victories - at the Rally Roma di Capitale and the Portuguese Rally Fafe Montelongo - the Italian Andrea Mabellini and his co-driver Nicolò Gonella (Rally Team Napoca) are in the lead.

In second place is another Italian crew, Roberto Gobbin and Alessandro Cervis (Winners Rally Team). They both finished second in Italy and Portugal. Third are the Czechs Martin Rada and Jarosalv Jugas (Agrotec Team), who won the Latvian Rally Liepāja in Latvia. Last year, Rada won in Hungary.

In addition to these three teams, Romanian Mihnea Mureșan (Bernini Rally) and his co-driver Alina Pop are also fighting for the title. Debutant Muresan has an experienced navigator on board in Pop: she has already competed twice in the Abarth Rally Cup alongside Andrea Nucita.

The Rally Hungary is particularly difficult: the route winds along narrow, potholed roads through northeastern Hungary. There are also challenging sections to master that lead through wet autumn forests. In 2019, the rally was marked by heavy rainfall.

The departure from Nyíregyháza is planned for Friday, November 6th, at 18.00 p.m. A short special stage will take place at 19.00 p.m. The first stage starts on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 19:15 p.m. The rally continues on Sunday from 7:20 a.m. to 16:30 p.m. The route is 956 km in total. There are 191 km of time trials to be completed, spread over 16 special stages.

The current standings in the Abarth Rally Cup: 1. Andrea Mabellini (ITA, Napoca Rally Team), 60 points; 2. Roberto Gobbin (ITA, Winners Rally Team), 48; 3. Martin Rada (CZE, Agrotec Team), 30.
