“Bild”: Coronation reaches three million views

That was the crowning moment: The royal livestream of the “Bild” special broadcast “The Coronation of the Century” of Charles III reached a total of around 3,3 million views across all of “Bild’s” digital channels last Saturday.

A further three million digital views were achieved via “Bild” videos in connection with the coronation, of which around two million were via social media channels.

Around 70.000 unique users followed the live stream of “The Coronation of the Century” on YouTube, and a total of almost half a million viewers watched the coverage of the coronation.

“Bild” accompanied the ceremony with the special broadcast “The Coronation of the Century” from 8.45 a.m. until the traditional photo of the royals on the balcony on all digital channels, especially on bild.de and YouTube.

The royal-glamorous special broadcast was hosted by presenter Janina Kirsch, show director Tanja May and palace insider and editor Alexander Graf von Schönburg.

They were supported by royal expert Désirée Nick. Fashion expert Anette Weber kept an eye on the royal wardrobe.

Society expert Bettina von Schimmelmann and reporter Annika Raasch reported from London.

Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler, also joined live to provide further exclusive insights and exciting gossip from the world of the royals.
