Singles are looking for their perfect match – and they're letting it all hang out. The current format was newly produced by Tower Productions.
What's behind the format?
The concept is as simple as it is provocative: Singles choose their potential partner solely based on physical attraction – and quite literally from the ground up. Several candidates stand naked in colorful boxes and are revealed round by round, from the bottom up.
Those who fail to impress are eliminated. In the end, only one person remains – and the question of whether that first impression can lead to something more.
The experiment is led by the moderator. Julian FM Stoeckel, who accompanies the singles with humor and an eye for what's essential. As a self-proclaimed "Professor of Love," he comments on the events with the necessary lightness.
Dancer meets Viking fan
The series kicks off with two singles with very different stories. Alyssa, a confident music video dancer, is looking for a serious relationship after eight years of being single.
Thomas, on the other hand, dreams of a partner who shares his enthusiasm for Viking culture and adventure.
Whether the first completely unveiled impression will be the decisive one for both will be revealed from the premiere episode onwards.
Background
The format is an extraordinary dating show in which singles choose their potential match solely based on external impressions – completely naked.
Several candidates stand in colorful boxes that gradually open, revealing more and more of their bodies. Round after round, the single person decides for or against each individual until only one date remains.
The subsequent date will reveal whether the chemistry is there beyond the physical realm. The experiment will be accompanied and commented on by the "Professor of Love," Julian FM Stoeckel.
