Open-air concerts and indoor tour through German-speaking countries
In the summer of 2026, Tyler will initially be on stage at various open-air events, sometimes together with Chris Norman as a "Special Double".
The subsequent arena tour starts on November 1, 2026 and will take place in nine cities: Hamburg, Rostock, Leipzig, Nuremberg, Karlsruhe, Munich, Berlin, Vienna and Zurich.
"I only got into show business for the live singing."
When asked what she would have said about her current tour schedule back in 1975, Tyler replied with her usual humor in early 2025: "I'd say this is a joke, right?" At the same time, she made her motivation clear.
"I only went there for one reason." show business I joined because I wanted to sing live! I love being on stage with my amazing band. It's pure pleasure for me and makes me feel young and happy!
From "Total Eclipse of the Heart" to the present day
Bonnie's career began in the 1970s with hits like "Lost in France" and "It's a Heartache." She achieved international success in 1983 with the album "Faster Than the Speed of Night"—the first British artist ever to reach number one in the UK charts. This album also includes "Total Eclipse of the Heart," one of the most famous songs in music history.
Other classics like "Holding Out for a Hero" remain a staple of the singer's repertoire. With her current single "Yes I Can," written by Nashville songwriters Bill Diluigi and Hannah McNeil, Tyler demonstrates that her distinctive voice has lost none of its power.
Awards and achievements
Throughout her career, Tyler has been honored with numerous awards, including Grammy nominations for Best Pop and Best Rock Vocal Performance, the RSH Gold Award, the Echo Award, and the Golden Europe Award. In 2011, she received the BMI Million-Air Award for over three million airplays in the US alone.
The Welsh singer stands for timeless music rather than fleeting trends. Her distinctive voice and energetic live shows have been captivating generations of fans for decades.
