"The Country Doctor's Practice" Season 4 – new doctor comes to Wiesenkirchen

The popular Sat.1 early evening series will soon return with fresh stories.
Because starting January 5, 2026, season 4 will bring new characters and dramatic twists. Wiesenkirchen am Schliersee.
Viktoria Raichinger returns
After 15 years of absence, doctor Viktoria “Vicki” Raichinger (played by Juliane Fisch) returns to her hometown.
The reason: a broken heart and the hope for a new beginning. But the return proves more difficult than expected.
Conflict with brother overshadows homecoming
Her relationship with her brother Max (Alexander Koll), a mountain rescuer, has been strained for a decade and a half.
Reconciliation is at the top of Vicki's list – but Max is still hurt and not ready to forgive her.
Career opportunity causes tension
While family tensions run high, a professional opportunity arises for Vicki: Fabian Kroiß (Oliver Franck) is looking for a new doctor for his practice.
However, this attitude would put Fabian's friendship with Max to a severe test.
A new love story is brewing
Although Vicki has actually sworn off men, she can't let go of her encounter with Simon Hilgers (Ben Braun).
The mysterious restaurant manager of the "Alte Post" could thwart their plans.
Record-breaking season: 240 new episodes for 2026
After the big one Success of the third season Sat.1 has significantly upped the ante. The fourth season will air continuously for a full year in 2026. Filmpool Entertainment is producing a total of 240 new episodes.
One special feature: During the year, another rural doctor's practice will open in the neighboring town of Weilhausen, offering additional stories.
