Photo journalist Peter Gebhard reports on his Bulli adventures

On November 14, 2019, photo journalist Peter Gebhard will report on the adventure of traveling through Iceland with his T1 "Erwin". The live photo report will take place at 19:00 p.m. at Auto Wichert in Hamburg-Altona (Bornkampsweg 2).

Peter Gebhard is a photojournalist and passionate traveler. He loves traveling with his iconic red and white T1 VW van "Erwin." With his live report accompanied by breathtaking films and images, he will take viewers on "the great VW van adventure: Iceland" on November 14, 2019.

There will be two 50-minute lectures about the breathtaking landscape, Peter Gebhard’s impressions and memories and, not to forget, his vintage car “Erwin”.

Iceland, the island in the far north, has been a travel destination for Peter Gebhard every year for more than 25 years "to experience Iceland's magic anew". This time he travelled around Iceland for 1 months, 5 days and 150 kilometres with his T10.000 vintage van "Erwin" and his assistant Daniel - and all with 44 hp.

Whether glaciers, geysers, deserts or a close-up volcanic eruption of Eyjafjallajökull, Peter Gebhard has seen and discovered almost everything on the island of fire and ice.

In the evening, Auto Wichert will be presenting an exhibition to match the classic car “Erwin”, from the VW T1 Bulli to the brand new T6.1. There will also be various items for Bulli lovers to browse and buy. A welcome drink and non-alcoholic beverages will be available during the break.

Tickets are now available at auto-wichert.de/Peter-Gebhard-Ticketverkauf. Admission for students aged 11 and over is 8 euros. For adults, 15 euros.
