A total of 23 candidates with a total weight of around 3,3 tons are hoping for their place in the legendary weight loss camp – and for a chance at an easier and healthier life.
In a total of ten episodes, they will fight for the title of “The Biggest Loser” 2024 and a prize of 50.000 euros.
"After more than a decade as camp manager on 'The Biggest Loser', I am now taking the training reins into my own hands and leading my own team for the first time. I am really looking forward to this new challenge," says kickboxing world champion Christine Theiss at the start of the new season.
And he continued: "But I also have respect for it, because after all I'm up against my friend and former coach Ramin Abtin. I have to say, quite immodestly, that it will be a battle of the giants."
The new season of “The Biggest Loser” starts on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 20:15 p.m. on Sat.1.
One week before the TV broadcast, “The Biggest Loser” 2024 will also be available on Joyn, the streaming platform of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE.
“The Biggest Loser” is produced by Redseven Entertainment on behalf of Sat.1.
