Abarth announces commitment to the 2020 motorsport season – European Abarth Rally Cup and Formula 4 in Germany and Italy

– Abarth Rally Cup 2020 includes six rallies as part of the European Championship.
– Prize money totaling 210.000 euros.
– Abarth is the engine partner of the German ADAC Formula 4 powered by Abarth for the sixth year in a row, and its involvement in the Italian Formula 4 will also continue.

Abarth is active on the circuit and in rallying in the 2020 season. Drivers and teams can now register for the second season of the Abarth Rally Cup*. The one-make cup will once again be held with the Abarth 124 rally. The six qualifying races will take place as part of the FIA ​​European Rally Championship (ERC). Abarth is providing prize money totaling 210.000 euros.

The brand with the scorpion in its logo is once again supporting private Abarth teams in the cup races in the 2020 season. Abarth hospitality is also available to them and they can also rely on the help of technicians and engineers. Abarth also offers a spare parts service on site.

On the circuit, Abarth is once again supporting the German ADAC Formula 4 as an engine partner – for the sixth year in a row – as well as the Italian Formula 4, a partnership that is already in its seventh year.

Luca Napolitano, Fiat and Abarth brand manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA): "Our drivers and their teams gather knowledge for Abarth's research and development work both on the racetrack and at rallies. Motorsport has always been an ideal test program for us. We continually incorporate the knowledge gained into the production of sporty road cars."
