Three teams competing in the 2020 Abarth Rally Cup

– When the season begins on July 24th with the Rally di Roma Capitale, three teams will compete for the Abarth 124 rally one-make cup.
– Two Italian teams will be taking part: Roberto Gobbin/Alessandro Cervi and Andrea Mabellini/Nicola Aren.
– There is also the Polish duo consisting of Dariusz Poloński and Łukasz Sitek.
– The 2020 Abarth Rally Cup calendar includes five races that will be held as part of the 2020 ERC European Championship.
When the Abarth Rally Cup 24 kicks off on July 2020th, three teams will be there to determine their champion: The Rallytechnology team, led by Dariusz Poloński and Łukasz Sitek, is already experienced. Last year, the Poles celebrated their first success in the Abarth Rally Cup at the Rally di Roma.
They fought with the Italian Andrea Nucita for overall victory until the final. The Italian Roberto Gobbin from the Winners Rally Team and his compatriot Andrea Mabellini from the Napoca Rally team are now making their debut in the Abarth Cup. In 2017, Mabellini achieved an excellent second place in the R-GT class in the Abarth 124 rally at the Rally di Monza.
The 2020 Abarth Rally Cup includes five spectacular events: after the Rally di Roma Capitale (24-26 July), the teams will compete on the gravel tracks of the Latvian Rally Liepāja (14-16 August) and the Rally Azores (17-19 September).
The last two races will be held on asphalt again - the Rally Hungary (6-8 November) and the Rally Islas Canarias (26-28 November). The best four results will be taken into account for the overall Abarth Rally Cup ranking.
Before the start of the 2020 Abarth Rally Cup, Luca Napolitano, CEO of the Fiat, Lancia and Abarth brands for the EMEA economic area, and Jean-Baptiste Ley, ERC coordinator, take stock of what has been achieved so far.
