Susanne Klehn: Celebrity expert at "Brisant"

Susanne Klehn proves from the very beginning of “Brisant” that it is never boring in the celebrity world of the rich and beautiful.

For years she has been meeting national and international stars, gaining insights into their private lives and hearing incredible stories. After her last position as responsible VIP manager and society reporter for "Guten Morgen Deutschland", she will now start as a celebrity expert for the ARD tabloid magazine "Brisant" on ARD from October 1st.

"The closer October 1st gets, the more I feel butterflies in my stomach. I can hardly wait to tell interesting, up-to-the-minute and emotional stories about and, above all, with the stars for "Brisant". Celebrity reporting has been my passion for years and I am so happy to be able to live it out on Das Erste from now on. And together with a team that is already giving me a very warm welcome! The fact that I am returning to my 'old home' with "Brisant" fills my heart with great happiness. It can begin," says the 37-year-old happily.

Many exciting stories await the viewers and Susanne Klehn: She will not only chat with star violinist David Garrett about private matters or put the stars of the medical drama "In aller Freundschaft" to the test at its 20th anniversary, but Susanne Klehn will also literally be in the same boat as the celebrities in Greece: For the "Rose of Charity" benefit event, she will venture out on a sailing yacht together with Thomas Kretschmann, Jasmin Gerat, Hannes Jaenicke and Dennenesch Zoudé, among others.

The tabloid magazine "Brisant" on Das Erste is produced by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk in Leipzig - an environment that the native of Saxony is very familiar with. She once studied journalism and theater studies in Leipzig, and began her career as a reporter at MDR. As the new celebrity expert, Susanne Klehn now completes the magazine, which is hosted by Mareile Höppner and Kamilla Senjo. There will be further innovations next year: in time for the 25th anniversary in 2019, the editorial team is already working behind the scenes on a makeover including a new look, new virtual studio and new content focus.

“Brisant” is broadcast Monday to Saturday at 17.15:XNUMX p.m. and attracts up to two and a half million people to their televisions.
