The mystery drama “Souls” starts on Sky and Wow

The award-winning Sky Original series “Souls” will premiere on Sky on November 8th.

The eight-part mystery drama can be seen every Tuesday at 20.15:XNUMX p.m. in double episodes on Sky Atlantic and is available as a complete season on the streaming service Wow and on demand via Sky Q.


At the international CanneSeries competition in April, “Souls” won two awards – for the best screenplay (Alex Eslam, Lisa van Brakel, Senad Halilbasic and Erol Yesilkaya) and the best music (Dascha Dauenhauer).

“Souls” will celebrate its German premiere at the Seriencamp on October 7th and will also be shown at the Cologne Film Festival on October 21st.

In Stockholm, pregnant pathologist Allie tries everything to prevent her beloved husband and pilot Leo from flying.

In Berlin, 25-year-old Linn joins a cult whose members, for a variety of reasons, desperately want to believe in life after death.

And in a hospital in the middle of Germany, Hanna wakes up after a serious car accident and wonders how her 14-year-old son Jacob managed to save them both from drowning.

When Jacob suddenly claims, a few days after the accident, that he remembers a previous life as a pilot of a missing passenger plane, he changes the fate of the three women in a dramatic way. Is he telling the truth?

“Souls” was produced by Geißendörfer Pictures GmbH with Hana Geißendörfer, Malte Can as producer and Alena Jelinek as executive producer on behalf of Sky Deutschland for Sky Studios.

The series was created by Alex Eslam, based on an idea by Malte Can. Alex Eslam, who wrote the screenplays with Lisa van Brakel, Erol Yesilkaya and Senad Halilbasic, also directed the series together with Hanna Maria Heidrich.
