TV film of the week: “Nord Nord Mord – Sievers and the last confession”

The lead singer of a church choir is found murdered in a Sylt cemetery - the inspectors Carl Sievers (Peter Heinrich Brix), Ina Behrendsen (Julia Brendler) and Hinnerk Feldmann (Oliver Wnuk) take over the investigation.

ZDF will show “Nord Nord Mord – Sievers and the Last Confession” on Monday, January 16, 2023, 20.15:XNUMX p.m.

At a funeral, Hinnerk Feldmann discovers a dead woman under the coffin of the deceased. She was suffocated the night before. The dead woman's name is Maria Fröbe and she was a cantor in the church choir.

After choir practice, she cycled home with Malte Arent (Karl Schaper), an employee of Maria's husband Jochen (Jörn Hentschel). Jochen accuses Malte of being Maria's lover and murderer.

But the investigation exonerates Malte. Inspector Sievers finds out that the victim did not go home, but instead went back to the church to meet with Pastor Tillich (Peter Jordan).

The TV film of the week will be available in the ZDF Mediathek for one year starting Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Tillich does not deny the weekly meetings, but claims that he never had a relationship with Maria. Finally, he breaks his vow of silence and reveals that an unknown person confessed to him that he murdered Maria.

If Tillich is telling the truth, he is in danger. Inspector Sievers instructs Hinnerk and Ina to observe the priest. When Jochen Fröbe finds love letters from his wife to Pastor Tillich, he breaks into the church.

Can Ina, who is now active as a lead singer in the choir, convict the real perpetrator?

Other roles are played by Victoria Trauttmansdorff, Michael A. Grimm, Paula Schramm, Herma Koehn, Stephan A. Tölle and Anne Weber.
