Alfa Romeo Giulia awarded with “Auto Trophy 2016″
The Alfa Romeo Giulia's winning streak continues. For readers of 28 specialist magazines and internet portals from Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Great Britain, the USA, Australia, China, Austria and Switzerland, the Italian sports sedan is simply the "World's Best Car 2016". This was the result of the international "Auto Trophy" competition run by AUTO ZEITUNG. The approximately 60.000 participants voted the Alfa Romeo Giulia the clear winner among imported cars in the "mid-range" category. 20,9 percent of the votes went to the model, which has been showered with awards in recent months.

"The choice of 'World's Best Car' by an international jury of readers also shows that the new Alfa Romeo Giulia's unique design and innovative technology inspires people in countries with very different automotive cultures. This trust is an incentive for us to continue consistently down the path we started with the Alfa Romeo Giulia and continued with the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio."
The new Alfa Romeo Giulia achieves superior dynamics with powerful engines, perfect weight distribution between the front and rear axles and an excellent power-to-weight ratio. With a 375 kW (510 hp) V6 biturbo petrol engine and technical components made of carbon fibre, the top model Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio sets new standards. The rear-wheel drive - and in the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce model version the Q4 four-wheel drive - is also a tribute to Alfa Romeo's history of success on the racetrack. Both are technological solutions that enable particularly sporty driving performance. In addition, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is one of the safest vehicles in the segment. In the EuroNCAP crash test, the sports sedan received the top rating of five stars.
