In the NDR “Tatort: Treibjagd” (working title), the Federal Police Commissioners Thorsten Falke (Wotan Wilke Möhring) and Julia Grosz (Franziska Weisz) are already working on their fifth case together.
Director Samira Radsi (“The Fox”, “Deutschland 83”, “The Protocol”) is filming the new episode in Hamburg until May 5, 2018, based on a book by Benjamin Hessler (“Murder with a View”, “Blood Glacier”) and Florian Oeller (“Tatort: Wrath of God”, “Deadly Secrets”, “Police Call 110: Dark Germany”).

Stefan Unterberger is behind the camera. Lead production is Wüste Medien GmbH. Das Erste is expected to show “Tatort: Treibjagd” (AT) in autumn 2018.
About the plot: The residents of the Hamburg district of Neugraben have been suffering from a series of burglaries for a long time. They live in fear, despite the special commission against organized burglary gangs, for which the commissioners Thorsten Falke and Julia Grosz also work. When a young man is shot red-handed by the owner of a single-family home during an attempted burglary, the case seems clear: the burglar had a weapon on him and the resident acted in self-defense.
But Falke and Grosz have a bad feeling because the burglar's weapon turns out to be a dummy. There also seems to have been an accomplice at the crime scene who is now on the run. A race against time begins between angry citizens and the detectives who are trying to bring the truth to light...
In addition to Wotan Wilke Möhring and Franziska Weisz, the cast includes Andreas Lust (Bernd Kranzbühler), Jörg Pose (Dieter Kranzbühler), Sascha Nathan (Siggi Reimers), Michelle Barthels (Maja Kristeva) and Levin Liam (Torben Falke).
The producers of “Tatort” are Björn Vosgerau and Uwe Kolbe (Wüste Medien GmbH), and the editor at NDR is Donald Kraemer.
