Arte Concert streams DJ sets daily

“United We Stream” continues. In view of the second lockdown of German cultural venues, Arte Concert and the Clubcommission Berlin have decided to resume their cooperation to support the endangered club scene.

From now on, Arte Concert will once again be streaming concerts and DJ sets from Berlin, Europe and the world every day between 21.00 p.m. and midnight throughout November at arte.tv/unitedwestream.

The cultural scene is facing a second shutdown; initial aid measures for club culture have been launched, but the public eye still overlooks the numerous artists and cultural workers whose livelihoods are threatened.

In order to give them a voice again and to offer the diverse, acutely threatened club scene a virtual stage, Arte Concert is continuing the broadcast of the successful “United We Stream” initiative launched by the Berlin Club Commission and other players in the scene.

In the “November Lockdown Edition” of UWS, DJ sets, live music and performances will now be broadcast live every day between 21.00 p.m. and midnight.

Tonight's event will be kicked off by DJs LuciaLu, Roman Flügel and Sally C from the rooftop studio of Atelier Berlin, from where the concerts scheduled for the coming days will also be broadcast without an audience.

An expansion of the transmissions from other cities in the global “United We Stream” network is planned.

The project is part of the #WeStayOpen campaign, launched by Arte Concert, which envisages increased cooperation with cultural institutions and cultural workers during the weeks of cultural restrictions.

Back in March of this year, Berlin clubs, the Clubcommission and Arte joined forces for the “United We Stream” project and offered daily live streams from the European club scene for more than two months.

The “United We Stream” initiative achieved 150 million video views on various platforms worldwide, 14 million of which were on ArteConcert’s channels.
