Stefan Cerchez becomes editor-in-chief of “Auto Strassenverkehr”
Stefan Cerchez has been appointed editor-in-chief of “Auto Strassenverkehr”. The 46-year-old will take over the position at the magazine from the Motor Presse Stuttgart media house on June 1st.
After completing an internship and several years of editorial experience at the specialist publisher EuroTransportMedia (ETM), Cerchez has been a member of the editorial team of “Auto Strassenverkehr” since 2011 and has been the editor-in-chief since 2012.
“With the appointment of Stefan Cerchez as editor-in-chief, we are setting a sign of continuity,” says Jörg Mannsperger, Managing Director of Motor Presse Stuttgart.
He continued: “We wish him every success in his new role in managing the important and successful brand for Motor Presse.”
Stefan Cerchez emphasizes the independent character of “Auto Strassenverkehr”: “We are the consumer magazine among the leading print car media.”
Even during the Corona crisis, the need for targeted information on cars is high. "This gives us the opportunity to reach an even larger readership with our compact mix of tests, technology and buying tips," says the future editor-in-chief.
“Auto Strassenverkehr” has been published every 1990 days since 14, alternating with “auto motor und sport” under the umbrella of Motor Presse Stuttgart.
