Bestselling author Alexandra Fröhlich dead – police investigate murder
Hamburg's bestselling author Alexandra Fröhlich has died. The 58-year-old was discovered lifeless by family members on her houseboat in the Moorfleet district this week.
The Police suspect a violent crime and is investigating for murder.

Police confirm massive violence
According to Hamburg police, Alexandra Fröhlich died as a result of massive violence. Investigators from the State Criminal Police Office (LKA 41) have established a homicide squad and are working diligently to solve the case.
Forensic evidence included a 3D scanner, diving teams that examined the water around the houseboat, and forensic experts. as newspapers report.
Traces of blood and fibers were recovered. The exact cause of death has not yet been released, but the coroner confirmed that the injuries were fatal.
Police ask for information – suspect unknown
For investigative reasons, the police did not want to disclose whether there was already a suspect.
However, officials are urgently requesting witnesses who have made suspicious observations in the area around the houseboat to come forward.
