Samsung Galaxy: News from A71 and A51

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A71 and A51 – the latest additions to the Galaxy A series. These smartphones are designed to combine popular innovations and an exceptional user experience into two devices for a broad audience.

They are equipped with a number of practical features: a battery that keeps pace with users' everyday lives, an intelligent camera that captures the world almost as users see it, and an almost edgeless Infinity-O display.

“We are continuing our successful Galaxy A series in 2020 with the A71 and A51, once again responding to the needs of our customers. Both models combine an intelligent camera with diverse settings options and long-lasting performance – all at a moderate price,” says Mario Winter, Senior Director Marketing IT & Mobile Devices, Samsung Electronics Germany.

With four cameras, the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 capture the big and small moments in life. Thanks to four lenses and intelligent functions, users can capture a wide variety of subjects in an impressive way, from wide landscapes to the smallest details.

The wide-angle camera on the Galaxy A51 takes pictures with a 48-megapixel camera, while users of the Galaxy A71 can even enjoy a 64-megapixel camera. Both cameras deliver sharp and vivid images even in difficult lighting conditions.

The ultra-wide-angle camera has a 123° field of view, covering a field of view similar to that of the human eye. By activating the shot suggestions, moments are automatically recognized that can be convincingly presented in an ultra-wide-angle shot, for example, and users are recommended to switch.

The macro camera allows you to capture close-ups sharply and in great detail, while the camera for bokeh effects can highlight certain objects using special live focus effects.

Photos Galaxy A51:

Super Steady mode lets you capture smooth, shake-free videos of adventures. Videos are automatically stabilized so that even shots of running, climbing, or playing with pets aren't shakey.

Both the A51 and the A71 come with a Super Amoled Infinity-O display that stretches almost from edge to edge. With a screen size of 6,5 inches and 6,7 inches, the smartphones allow you to immerse yourself in your favorite series or game while on the go.

The Galaxy A71 (469 euros) and Galaxy A51 (369 euros) are available in three colors in the Samsung online shop starting this week.
