ZDF: “Berlin direct – Summer interviews” start for 2020

The new “summer interview” season of the ZDF political magazine “Berlin direct” is starting. During the parliamentary summer break, the moderators Theo Koll and Shakuntala Banerjee interview the leaders of the parties represented in the Bundestag.

A total of eight summer interviews can be seen on ZDF from July 12 to August 30, 2020, every Sunday at 19.10:XNUMX p.m. To kick things off, Theo Koll will speak with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The summer interviews offer the opportunity for in-depth discussions: How will the Corona crisis affect how we live in the future – for example, with more government and less globalization? Who will bear the burden of the gigantic mountains of debt?

And who in the political leadership has which concepts? Who wants to lead the country in the future, with whom and how?

One year before the next federal election, half a year before the election for the CDU party chairmanship and in the midst of the ongoing corona pandemic, there are answers in the ZDF summer interviews 2020.

The summer interviews have been an integral part of the ZDF summer program for 32 years. The first one was broadcast in 1988 as part of the program “Bonn direct”.
