RTL: New jury for “DSDS” and “Supertalent”

Europe's most successful talent show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" is reinventing itself: Starting with the next season (2022), DSDS will delight its fans for the first time in almost 20 years with a completely new jury.

After the current season, Dieter Bohlen will hand over command of the jury desk to strong successors who will be announced in time for the next season.

The grand finale on April 3, 2021 will be the pop titan’s last show in the chief judge’s chair.

The big family show “Das Supertalent” will also attract its audience to the screens in autumn 2021 with new judges and spectacular acts. All those involved were informed of this in advance.

RTL entertainment boss Kai Sturm says: “We would like to expressly thank the current jury and especially Dieter Bohlen as the long-standing chief judge.”

He continues: "With clear judgments and a fine sense for musical mainstream in the very best sense, Bohlen has played a key role in the long-term success of both shows."

But, says Sturm: “After almost two decades of shared success, now is the right time for change and further development.”

The 15th season of the Supertalent starts in autumn 2021, the 19th season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” in January 2022 on RTL and on TVNow.
