The next season of the report series “Our Bundeswehr” is coming

Air Force, German Navy and Army: All major branches of the Bundeswehr are directly affected by the changes since the Russian attack on Ukraine.

The soldiers are tackling the increase in defense capabilities with a high level of personal commitment, beyond political discussions about the two percent target and debates about the procurement of new equipment that will not be available for several years.

As early as autumn 2022, Kabel Eins captured the zeitgeist with the broadcast of the first season of the reportage series “Our Bundeswehr: Missions, People, Emotions” with a market share of up to 1 percent among 6,6- to 14-year-olds.

In season 2, the broadcaster sharpens its focus on the individual branches of the armed forces with a thematic focus on the Air Force (part 1), Navy (part 2), Army (part 3) as well as a look at special troop units such as the CIR (Cyber ​​and Information Space), the KSK or the Guard Battalion (part 4).

With exclusive access to the major international NATO exercises “Air Defender 23” (June 2023) and “Northern Coasts” (September 2023), each led by the German Armed Forces, Kabel Eins is right there when thousands of members of the armed forces prepare for an emergency.
