Stefan Raab with five-year exclusive contract with RTL

Yesterday's boxing match between show legend Stefan Raab and former boxing world champion Regina Halmich not only marked Raab's triumphant return to the limelight, but also revealed a spectacular TV comeback.

Raab will launch a brand new quiz competition show on RTL+ on September 18, marking the start of a five-year collaboration with the streaming service.

The new show, which airs on Wednesdays at 20:10 p.m., is titled “You won’t win the million here with Stefan Raab” (#DGHNDMBSR).

The candidates have the chance to win one million euros – but Raab doesn’t make it easy for them.

He himself takes over the moderation and asks the quiz questions, while at the same time competing in duels against his challengers.

He will be supported by a variety of guest presenters, including audience favourite Elton, who will accompany the first three shows.

Inga Leschek, Chief Content Officer of RTL Germany, is thrilled: “We are making television history! The boxing match was just the beginning; now Stefan Raab is making his grand return with a weekly show on RTL+. We look forward to five years of exclusive collaboration with him.”

The new show combines elements of late-night comedy, entertainment and quiz competitions. Week after week, Raab not only asks the candidates tricky questions, but also challenges them in exciting duels.

The goal: to guard the million and not let anyone take it lightly. With "You won't win the million here with Stefan Raab", the cult presenter is back in his old strength and promises entertainment.
