What motivates people in quarantine?

The ZDF documentary series “37°” deals with the consequences of the corona pandemic for people in the program “From One Hundred to Zero – People in Quarantine” on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, 22.15:XNUMX p.m.

How does their life change in isolation? What do they spend their time doing? What do they miss? And what do they possibly gain from the forced slowdown?

The authors Reinhard Schädler and Volker Zeimantz paint a picture of what is happening under Germany's roofs in the Corona quarantine.

The film shows people from different age groups and social groups with different challenges: the student who has danced from one party to the next and now has to cope on her own.

A family of five, in which only the mother and father have tested positive for Corona so far, are now wondering how they can protect their children and grandfather from infection in this situation.

A 38-week pregnant woman who hopes that her baby will not be born until she is released from quarantine. A yoga teacher who is finally implementing her long-held plan to change her business model and will offer her classes online in the future.

A pastor who is now increasingly providing her community with online sermons and spreading the hope that society has the chance to become a new, better one after the Corona crisis.

And how are the people who are homeless and therefore have no way of hiding in their own four walls to protect themselves from infection in times like these?

Largely through private mobile phone recordings of those affected, video diaries and chats, the film bears witness to how our society is dealing with the current crisis.
