Filming has begun in the Black Forest for “Höllgrund”, the new SWR series for the ARD Mediathek with Lou Strenger and August Wittgenstein in the leading roles.
The ensemble also includes Alissa Atanassova, Nicki von Tempelhoff, Ulrike C. Tscharre, Andreas Anke and Heiner Lauterbach.
The eight 30-minute episodes are directed by Lea Becker and Hanno Olderdisse.
A series of mysterious deaths occur in a tranquil village in the Black Forest.
Village policewoman Tanja suspects that there is a dark secret behind the incidents.
Against the orders of her superior and the resistance of the other villagers, Tanja begins the investigation on her own.
Little does he know that the charming new country doctor Fabian with his shapely hands is involved in the mysterious series of murders.
“Höllgrund” is a production by Studio Zentral on behalf of SWR and will be filmed until the end of December.
