New format – "The Room with Eva Schulz"

In her new format “The Room with Eva Schulz,” journalist, presenter and podcaster Eva Schulz addresses pressing socio-political issues.

Designed for a young audience, the game and talk show addresses the topics of meat consumption and educational equity in an entertaining way in two pilot episodes.

With guests from politics and the public sphere, a political discourse is created that aims to offer young people an alternative way to form their opinions.

The first episode, with the topic “Is eating meat still okay?”, will be available from July 16th, the second asks the question “How fair is our education system?” and will go online on July 30th.

The format was developed exclusively for the ARD Mediathek.

In each episode, journalist and show host Eva Schulz welcomes four guests from politics, pop culture and the digital public to discuss pressing social issues with them.

To do this, however, she does not gather them in a classic talk show circle of chairs, but locks them in a room that is full of surprising props, secret niches and disguised puzzles.

Eva Schulz keeps an overview from her control center, gives tips, checks facts and asks the questions that really matter...
