Ducerf: Wood exports to more than 40 countries

The French company Ducerf is a family-owned business that exports timber to more than 40 countries. The company processes hardwoods (primary and secondary processing), with oak being a particular focus. All products are PEFC certified and sourced from sustainably managed forests.

An example of a currently popular product made from French oak is the Profileo door frame (-> https://www.ducerf.de/produkte/profileo-turrahmen). French oak provides valuable, very durable and resilient wood. Oak is very dense and looks classy and solid. The frame consists of a laminated middle layer with solid wood edging (thickness: 35 mm) and two top layers (thickness: 3,5 mm) made of solid wood. The frame is stable and durable.

The planed wood has a perfect, smooth surface. Individual profiling and length cutting are of course possible on request. By using D3 glue (indoors), the door frames can be installed in bathrooms or kitchens without any problems. With a guaranteed wood moisture content of 11%, no changes occur due to swelling or shrinkage.

Another product of the Ducerf Group is wooden decking. (-> https://www.ducerf.de/franzosisch-verarbeitetes-holz). Nothing can beat the charm and comfort of wooden terraces. The material is warm and natural, and each wooden plank is unique. Ducerf offers terrace boards made from various types of wood: natural wood (oak or robinia), thermally treated wood (ash) or pressure-impregnated softwood (Douglas fir).

Robinia produces a particularly strong wood with high, natural durability. Robinia decking is easy to care for and the slightly reddish wood makes the boards particularly attractive. Ash wood becomes durable and resistant through heat treatment. Douglas fir is an inexpensive, good and very popular decking wood.

Ducerf decking boards can be attached to the substructure visibly or invisibly. Visibly with rust-proof stainless steel screws or invisibly with claws on the substructure. The wood then comes into its own particularly beautifully.

Some more tips for care:

Clean your patio regularly with a broom. An annual thorough cleaning with water and a special patio cleaner removes moss and algae. After cleaning, you can oil the patio with a suitable colored oil.
