Speeding away in a car is one thing – holding onto a car is another.

Anyone who can do this particularly well and implements it in an exceptional book has a good chance of winning the Motorworld Book Prize, which will be awarded again on May 30, 2023 at the Motorworld Munich.
And yet this year everything is a little different. In addition to the BASF Coatings division and the AvD as new partners, there are also new jury members on board.
Invited guests and industry experts, creative people with a strong passion for automobiles and an expert jury with a profound sense of what is unique - the Motorworld Book Prize ceremony in 2023 promises to once again be a literally moving event.
And not least because the jury includes three new top-class automotive experts: Sabine Kehm (Schumacher manager), Lutz Leif Linden (General Secretary of the Automobilclub von Deutschland eV and Managing Director of AvD Wirtschaftsdienst GmbH) and Jürgen Book (Classic Cars Manager, Global Strategic Account Management, BASF Coatings GmbH).
The variety of topics the jury members are dealing with this year, which book will win in which category and which work will be a special surprise - guests will find out all this at the Motorworld Book Prize award ceremony on May 30, 2023 in the Motorworld Munich.
For around 20 years, the Automotive Book Prize has honored the best works on the topics of automobiles and mobility. It was founded by Jürgen Lewandowski, a motoring journalist, automotive historian, and author.
The Motorworld Group has been involved as an organizer for six years. This year it is the main organizer of the awards ceremony for the fifth time.
The awards are given in the categories “Brand Book”, “Biography”, “Motorsport”, “Design” and “History”.
In addition, there are special prizes for exceptional submissions.
